wss has none of the powder I use

They had no imr 4831,4350,3031,rl-15 and no winchester lr or lrm primers! WHAT THE HECK?They did have 25-06 brass,I guess that is something.Edmonton location anyways.

Sometimes it's just easier to ask them what they DO have in stock and see if you can use it. Always walk in there with a fairly lengthly shopping list of possibilities with the hope of only getting one item.

It's not that that people plan to fail.

Wait till the few weeks before rifle opener, when all the I shoot is a box a year crowd find out the shelves are either bare or the price is over the top.

Luckily they have the loading manuals right there. Just go down the list, it only took 8 choices to find me a powder for my 22-250 yesterday.

not to rub it in, but sometimes you NEED to buy the 8 pound canister or the 4 pound jug- the 2 powders i use (748 and 231) in 1 lb lots are almost always sold out immediately- same deal with primers- everybody buys the 1k lot for30 bucks, but who buys the 5k or even 10 k-I DO

I do have about 18000 primers,and about four to five pounds each of the rifle powders.I like to have more on hand.Have lots of pistol powder,including 8 pounds of wsf.Down to 700 magnum rifle and that is not good.

That's great Phil,you guys always look after your customers.That is why I spend thousands of dollars in your store vs hundreds at wholesale.I stopped in their with my wife on the way by yesterday to have a look and asked out of curiosities sake as I have heard of the americans having big shortages at their local gunstores.Think I will make a trip down to your store today with Junior.Thank you for posting this!!

I don't bother with WSS for powder or primers anymore, I go to P&D.

Its also nice to be able to wack down the shelving row and pick out you bullets and brass without having to ask someone behind the counter.

Yes p&d you can actually see the bullets they have,wholesale you have to try to get someones attention,and try to direct them to the box you want while seeming like it is such an inconvenience,same with brass.The kid that was at wholesale yesterday was quite helpful,courteous,but I am quite sure that he did not know much about firearms or reloading but at least he was happy and not critisizing my choice of powders like some of the elderly in there have from time to time.
