The long story:
The Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia (WSSBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to science-based wildlife management, ecosystem preservation, and community stewardship. While its primary focus is wild sheep, its funding and volunteer operations directly benefit a broad spectrum of other wildlife species, habitats, and community initiatives across British Columbia. Driven by the goal of "putting more sheep on the mountains," the WSSBC unites hunters, First Nations, and conservationists to protect BC's exceptionally diverse wild sheep populations, which include four native subspecies: Dall's, Stone's, Rocky Mountain bighorn, and California bighorn sheep. However the WSSBC's mandates have expanded into several diverse portfolios:
1. Landscape-Level Habitat Restoration
2. General Wildlife and Predator Research
3. Agriculture and Biosecurity
4. Youth, Women, and Indigenous Advocacy
5. Hunter Heritage and Anti-Poaching Education

In many cases, the WSSBC is the sole source of funding for the continuous array of ongoing projects.
In order to fund these projects and initiatives, the WSSBC relies on the generosity of its industry conservation partners and passionate members who donate time and resources to organize events, auctions, and raffles that in turn, generate revenue.
The Alpine Precision Rifle Raffle is the WSSBC's single largest raffle, with the highest flow-through of funding: the rifle systems are 100% donated by Precision Optics, Gunwerks, Fierce Firearms, Tenacity Firearms, Weatherby, Gentec Canada/Zeiss, and Leica Sports Optics.
If you like beautiful rifles, like good odds at winning stuff, care about wildlife conservation, the rights of firearms owners, hunter advocacy, and many other important initiatives, please consider supporting the Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia and this fundraising raffle.
