As my luck would have it ,,,,,,,,connected with this nice White Tail Buck tonight . Seen a couple of tails flag there way out of a field while I was on my way home from the rifle range and decided to stop around the corner and hike back along the ridge so see if they would show themselves again. I slopped through the trees up on the ridge and watched for a few moments, lo and behold....out pops this deer into the field, I sat down and slowly raised my Sako Finlite 3006 and peered through my Leupold 4x14 with its cross hair trained on its shoulder. My first thought said 200 yds second thought was Horns and third thought said send that 165 gr Hornady sst. Took out both shoulders and he was lucky to make it 30 yds.
