Welcome aboard!

Original Cooey 64 had a plastic magazine. They later switched over to metal magazines. Your 6c (if Canadian) is a Cooey 64 that accepts metal magazines. As you're aware, same magazines are still made new today. Check your magazine well...should look like a skeleton keyhole.

The American version of 6c was a wincheser.

If it is the old style 64, the mag is obsolete. It was made of bakeolite and very hard to find. The old style has an "L" bracket to hold the mag while the replaceed magwell and mag are inserted type.

This is the bottom of a metal-mag-using Cooey/Lakefield/Savage (this one's a Cooey)

Not my picture...provided by a fellow CGN'er, and have permission to share it.

If your's looks like the one in the picture (skeleton keyhole) you can purchase brand new magazines, from Savage.
