I had an Ultra Slug Hunter, and it was my favourite deer gun for many years. Sold it only when I moved to an area that allows rifles. That gun is...or was...one of the all-time greatest value-for-money bargains in shooting. Accurate with almost any sabot slug load, and insanely accurate with its favoured ones. Yes, they are a bit heavy, because of the 10-gauge-sized blank bored out to only 12-gauge. Mine came with a heavy steel bar residing in the buttstock behind the mounting bolt. Remove that and the gun becomes much more carry-friendly.
I've never shot the lightweight version, but the one I saw was not drilled/tapped for scope mounts, in case that is a concern.
