Hi all, I've been looking for hours to get one of these trimag (three mag holders), and can't find a place that will ship to canada. I did find one seller on ebay selling for 50$ but that gives me heartburn. anyone know where i can get one for around retail price?
Thanks

Trail.track.sand -- vendors on Ebay -- will ship to Canada. That's where I got mine from. Search trimag + belt pouch for a combo deal. Their trimag listing says ships to United States but just email them to get over that hurdle. Brownells also sells them online and they ship to Canada -- they also sell the dual mags which you JB Weld together. In some ways, I like the duals better than the trimags because they're more compact and you simply flip them over.

That should read "dual mag connectors" not dual mags. The result of the "welding" of the two 10/22 factory mags, however, is dual mags.

I like the idea of the duals as well. Could I just glue 2 together? what makes the purchased connector needed? thanks btw

For the how-to on connecting the dual mags, search YouTube for "shoktroop" and his 10/22 Trick Tips #2 Mag Coupler vid. If you're doing a bunch of the duals, just make sure you align the mags in the same direction when gluing them together. Otherwise, they won't all flip/rotate the same.

Since I have a whack of trimags, dual mags and 25rd Butler Creek and Tactical Innovations mags, I'll offer an opinion: Stick with the 25rd Tactical Innovation (TI25) mags. You have to wait for them to be restocked in Canada, but the wait is worth it. Shoktroop uses the duals because he's in California and can't use 25rd banana mags. Cost-wise, you're better off with the TI25 mags than going with factory mags and connectors. The trimags are the same: they're used to get around the 25rd mag prohibitions.

I've used all types of mags and the TI25s are the best. I have three 10/22 Takedowns and never had to adjust the screws on the mags for fit. Popped them on and bang, bang, bang. YMMV. You can also take the TI25s apart to clean them.
