WTF Drill and tap

Mounts of any kind, usually, have the size of screw, drill and tap required on the package. Drilling a screw hole is not something done with a hand drill, if you don't have or have access to a drill press.

Brownells.com probably has what you need. You'll need to know what size/thread you are looking for before you place an order.

like everyones said very small doesn't help. theres 28 different imperial threads between 0.044 and 1/8th inch. and 10 metric threads between the same sizes

Well can't believe how many people gave worthless input!
One offered to help me tell what size and another gave a name of who should be able to sell them to me and tell what size the screws were. If I knew what size I would have just found the pieces myself .I said very small because 6/32 appears way to big, the mount came from Australia with no tap or drill and no info telling what size. Now I at least have a idea of where to go to purchase them. Thanks to those who helped and well sorry to those who tried to make fun of me.

Your original question was "where to buy", not what size or how to do it. Data out is only as good as data in.

The best advice you got was to let a professional do it for you... it'll cost you less in the end. You need a certain level of proficiency before you attempt to remove metal, because you can't put it back and try again if it doesn't work out the first time. Nothing wrong with a man trying to do stuff himself - though i'd suggest you practise on some scrap metal before you start drilling holes in your pistol.

I don't think anyone was really making fun of you ...

...the very first sentence in the very first reply to your post was, "Do you know what the screw threads are?"

If you had replied with information like, "No, I have screws but I don't know what size they are. The mount came from Australia."

Then someone would have told you they are probably metric and you would have to measure them. You require a metric screw pitch gauge to do that... or to take them to a machine shop and ask if they will measure them and tell you what they are.

The second reply to your post mentioned having it done professionally... in most cases this is really good advice ...
