WTF?!! Export controls on reloading equipment?

Midsouth Shooter's Supply is now showing an export control statement on most or all of their reloading presses and dies. The statement says something to the effect that "this item is controlled for export by the Dept. of Commerce, and an export license may be required for international orders". Is anybody aware of whether or not this is a mistake, misunderstanding or the beginning of yet another supply headache for canuck shootists?

First I have heard of it. Maybe Midsouth just doesn't want to bother shipping to Kanucklestan anymore?

Maybe, but this is a change for them. I have been monitoring their site for months checking prices and stock on a LNL AP, this is the first time the notice has been there.

Give them a call and ask them...And post results. Midsouth is usually great to deal with

A change worth noting - but it says only "may require an EXPORT LICENSE for international orders." International orders would include all countries of the world I presume. So maybe no issues to Canada.

But times they are a changin.
