This always happens.
I see an add or read a post that I find important, don't bother to copy or otherwise mark it, then I'm unable to locate it again!
I couple of weeks ago, I read a post or a comment to one referencing a company selling S&W 586/686's etc with custom 4.2inch barrels.
Anyone point me in the right direction?

If you are using the search function make sure all the date settings are correct so you are looking back further in time.

The other thing you can do is look in the bar directly above the first post, on the right hand side. There's a pull down menu called "Thread Tools". Click that and click "Subscribe to Thread" Next time you come on, click USER CP in the top left and it'll show if there are any new posts in that thread. If there isn't, click "view all subscribed threads" and it'll show you a list of everything you've subscribed to follow.

In control panel under your options you can set it so that any post you comment on will automatically be added to your subscriptions. You can even get email notification when someone else posts in that thread.

Something I do in addition to the subscriptions, is every once in a while I will search for my user name. Then all of the threads that I replyed to will come up.

There's a quick way to do this too---
In the top right it'll say "Welcome, mercuryv8.
click your username
click the box titled "statistics"
click "find all posts by mercuryv8"
