WTK ipsc and glock after market BBL

The rules allow for changes to comply with local laws. If no factory barrel exists than said person. Is meeting the local law and is in compliance with the rule book using an after market barrel.
It is not similar to finger on the trigger during a reload. Nor. Is it in the same category.

IF its just a club match the longer non OEM barrel is going to be good enough for me. But that's what club matches are for.

IF its a regular IPSC Qualifier then no. Although I would have no problems with an exemption being passed by the world body allowing longer non OEM barrels where OEM barrels are not available. So until Glock (in this case) makes longer barrels available non OEM barrels would be allowed. Do it on a year by year thing. No Glock barrel by January 1, 2010 then you can use the non OEM for the 2010 year.

And it would be valid world wide. But only if its required in the shooter's home country or the country of the match.

Someone from the USA for example should be able to come up here with a longer barrel if it is required by Canadian law.

Ya, a Canadian going down to the USA would have a couple mm longer barrel than the American shooting the same gun. I don't think its a major advantage.

What ya think? :runaway:

so... am i in open or standard???
I,m planing to shoot the L3 in kingston, but man why dont ipsc seem to have a rule for everything and 10 people dont see it the same way.
Its enought to not both anymore.
I really can see why so many peopel get into ipsc then get out of it.
Its just a glock, would it really make a differance if the bbl is 5mm longer ....

You're standard - BBB. The rules are pretty clear. We're just discussion how in some cases - they suck for some people.
