Wut's this brass casing?

So I know squat about any brass larger than 50/70 Gov't.
This was just given to me. I suspect it's a Bofors round based on absolutely nothing.
About 15" long and the mouth is a little crimped but measures around 1 7/8" diameter...

Not 40mm Bofors.
looks like current 57mm but 1.875 is 47mm
