With all your somewhat obscure garand posts im almost worried this rifle has become some sort of strange fetish for you....

I really hope that someone stole your pass-word, because this is probably the most ignorant thing I've read in a long time.

Clancy's posts and web-sites are a facinating source of yes, in-fact OBSCURE information.

If you are not willing to learn, please cease from making stupid, ignorant and insulting comments.

I liked reading the Garand stuff Clancy posted. His critics seem to me a bunch of dumb ass--les.

If you take exception to Clanceys obscure information might I suggest you take advantage of the IGNORE user option provided for your use.

Others find the information FACINATING and would like to continue learning...

Just thought posting questions without giving anyone responces in EVERY thread he created was odd...nevermind the odd nature of some posts.

But hey, if you want 100 scanned letters saying the m1 garand is now in production, wooden cleaning rod handles, and his own version of what makes a rifle cease to function............be my guest.

i only mentioned it was odd, i dunno where his personal cheerleader support squad came in. He was free to tell me himself garands were his utmost passion. Heck ive seen people obsessed over even more trivial things.

Well I think that you are kinda odd with your post critising Clancey. I think that Clancey was doing a lot of very intresting work.

And I don't care much about garands, but I was really interested in the history.
 
Fair enough, never thought i was totally right in the head myself.

I dont think i was OVERLY harsh regardless, he was free to tell me to F off and you all coulda posted that you found him interesting without teh fanfare.
Im kinda bemused he just up and left half-apologetically. Heck go call him back, im but an opinion and if others find him interesting, so be it.

I feel very sorry for the person who posted this drivel...it sounds like something that anti-gunners would promote.
For once we have some pertinent firearms related info being shared amongst collectors that has nothing to do with SKS or AK-47 garbage that some infantile children spout off about. The Garand is one of the most imoportant firearms designs that was ever produced...bar none.
A deep thank you needs to go out to Clancy for all the work he has done sharing the Garand info with us.
Please ignore the idiocy of a very few who are totally ignorant to the history of important firearms designs.
Don't stop sharing this information...please.

Pick a gun (preferably not plastic that shoots those little red plastic bullets)and look it up and present the info on the forum. Sorry, crayola crayon writing does not show up well on the internet, you are going to have ask the nurse to give you the big pencil...not too sharp though. You can also print it out somehow...Staple does this for a moderate fee, save your allowance for this.
