First is a 1943 k31 walnut stock
Secend is a 1943 sako SKY marked m39
Third is a 1943 izhevsk pu sniper
Fourth is a 1939 Tula 91/30 in a laminate stock and brass handgaurd
Fifth is a 1944 izhevsk m44
Sixth is a 1941 Tula svt-40 with a polished bolt carrier��
Not to bad for one year of collecting

First and second up are 1942 and 43 Tula Svt 40's
Third and fourth are a 43 and 50 K31's
Fifth is my 43 S.K.Y Sako M39
Sixth is a 43 VKT M91 built on a 1901 receiver
Seventh is a 43 izhevsk pu sniper
Eighth is a 39 Tula 91/30 with a laminate stock
Ninth is a 44 izhevsk M44 laminate stock polish refurb
Last though it's not ww2 it's still a k98 it's a Israeli K98 in 308

Way to go there, a very nice collection indeed in one year.

A LB No4 or a Brit No4 and a K98K would be a nice addition to this collection as well for WW2. I couldn't afford a nice original K98K,, it's on my main list now in front of the Garand,.... so I picked up a Yugo capture to feel the solidly built German masterpiece., not a pure collector piece mind you,..but a great representation of the German rifle, seeing it is a real German rifle, lol,...all prettied up by the partisan's in the late 40's for the less discerning collector like myself.;)
 
Nice rifles! I started buying "them old army rifles" over 50 years ago, when collecting was a term I wasn't really familiar with, at least with regards to firearms. I bought the old milsurps because I liked them. I still do. I like the heft of rifles like the No.4's, etc..

I still don't really have any particular limits to guide me. I enjoy all my old pelters. My "collection is somewhat jumbled, but I was the one supplying the money, so I got to choose what I bought. (Although, to be fair, my dear wife has bought me a couple of nice ones lately!)

My two latest scoops are a 1941 Longbranch with a hinged front band and low cut for a mag cut-off and a 1929 M96 Swede.

Keep an eye out at gun shows. There are some dillies sleeping on some of those tables. Enjoy your goodies. Thanks for showing them to us! :rockOn:
