I have always had a keen interest in World War2.
Especially the war in the pacific.
I have several Australian items from the war but have never come across much Japanese militaria from the era.
Other than the defense of Hong Kong, Canadian involvement in that theater was minimal.
A friend of mine has a very large and complete, complex militaria collection.
This includes a number of Japanese items.
I was able to aquire a Superior privates tunic and a pack from him.
Wondering if anyone here has been able to collect much Japanese militaria from the war?
