WWII .303 British Ammunition - Has anyone seen this style of Winchester box before?

I've seen alot of .303 British ammunition ... but I haven't run across this box before. Generally, when it comes to wartime Winchester production, I've found it in 20 round boxes (or just loose among people's odds and ends). I presume this is simply a Lend Lease 48 round box that would have been sent overseas during the dark hours of World War Two. Is anyone familiar with this particular style of box filled by Winchester?

... and now I have to find a nice clean one that hasn't been opened.

That's one I haven't seen. All I have are singles.

That box would pack just fine 26 in a case for 1248 rounds: standard size for British military.

The 48 round Winchester boxes are still relatively common here in the UK along with the variations in the 20 round boxes.

They probably are original Winchester packaging but I did wonder if they are Canadian or British re-packs. The things that argue against re-packs are lack of a label number or inspection marks and the use of the proper Winchester font for the logo.

Anyway, here are the various other boxes I have.
