Hate to mention this, guys, but the commercial industry was 'way ahead of the Gummints in the smallarms ammo department: all our stuff with DC or DI headstamps was non-corrosive and non-mercuric. So was the Winchester stuff, which was US-made, of course, and they knew what they were doing as well.
It was GOVERNMENT ammunition, including DA, RG, GB, E, K5, RL, DEN, TW, LC and a whole raft more...... that was either corrosive or (in the case of the British-calibre stuff) corrosive AND mercuric.
