The book is sold out and is in reprint now. I'll advise when it comes out, as one of the major contributors is a chum of mine and the second edition will have a few more scopes and mounts....

I heard it's a good book. But is it only scopes and mounts?

Both BBOTW and Sniper Variations by Law and The German Sniper by Senich have some Fakes listed as Original and some Serious Problems with the data sheets in BBOTW - came out in the 1990's and The German Sniper in the 1980's.

I received mine a week or so ago....

Haven't really had a chance to get into it very much, but just from a quick scan, it looks great for the serious collector.

Tons of pics of all correct scopes and mounts .....

Remember, as I said, it's very long on detailed photographs, but light on text and details supporting them. It's just titles in both German and English underneath the pics. Therefore, in my opinion, you nee accompanying books such as Senich's or Law's in order to get the most out of this book.

That's why I would say it's for the serious collector who's looking for addtional resources, not purely a stand alone scopes and mounts research book.
