OK, I just got finished watching Norm Christies, "Who Killed Micheal Wittman" Well DAH,, It is a no brainer.. THE CANADIANS,,, Not the British... Anyhow early in the show, I saw a clip of two Canadian soldiers, the far one had a bren, the closer soldier was Left shouldering A FULL ON LEFT HANDED BOLT ACTION, Lee Enfield... I recorded the program on History, and confirmed what I saw..

So How rare are these LH No4's and who has one for me...
 
Nice to see I wasn't the only one who noticed. Its either a super rare model like the "Royal marines commando " rifle or they flipped the film when they transfered it to video.
 
Did you see toward the end the Canadian soldier with the Inglis Hipower cocked and pointed toward the prisoners?
 
Oh my!! You mean they didn't make bolt actions for the lefties???:eek::eek: You mean that the left-hand Mauser that I just bought and paid for in advance is a fake!???:p:p (sarcasm off) Same thing happened in this picture where three big tough soldiers are bullying this woman. Note the bolt on the Mauser...

Actually to me the soldiers are trying to reason with her, note the body language of them. Hands open arms in the calm down manner... No doubt there is more to the situation, but I mean they don't have her in a head lock or anything.

Anyway so what are you saying do you or don't you have a left hand bolt mauser? If so PICS PLEASE....

Not true. There were other pics in this series, and she was clearly holding a stapler.

Busted, but then again I wouldn't really want anyone trying to pass this pic off as legitimate elsewhere on the net without a flaw somewhere. However preposterous that would be. To re-tool all the machinery necessary to make a mirrored gun is ludicrous, especially for wartime military arms. IF one was ever built it would have been specially hand built modifying the normal receiver (omitting the safety I suspect), and bolt but using the stock parts for everything else.

Well guys, in the TV show, the soldier was using his LEFT ARM AND LEFT HAND ATTACHED TO THE LEFT ARM... AND Brought the rifle up to his LEFT Shoulder.. So how does flipping the film do that... anyway, I am sure someone out there in Rifle land can confirm the existance of LH enfields.
