WWII Re-Enacting and shooting Edmonton Area.

Hello All

Just doing a poll on interest in starting a WWII re-enacting group in the Edmonton Area for the summer of 07. This may only begin small by first conducting a WWII Mil surp shoot.

The local service rifle shoots used to encourage people to show up in kit, but the AR games(wo)men may have put a damper on that....

Look around the shops for the shoots put on by Pete, as he used to encourage that.

I know i try to show up in my 80's era CF kit...

But i"m just a wanna be weiner...

I'd show up to shoot my rifles (both milsurps -- yeah, I have a whopping two rifles, wow), I guess, but I don't have any real kit to be in. I have a bunch of collected camo that I wear hunting and camping, but none of it is the same vintage as my rifles. So, uh, basically I'd just look like a failed try-hard goober.

I went down to Oregon to do my re-enacting as a Deutscher soldaten. Class III state + MG 42, MP40, MG34, Thompson, and M1919s = orgasmic.
