Anyone familiar with this rifle ... they look good just how do you know without shooting .. Are they in the same class as the Winchester and even the Sako A7 ...
 
Have had 3 and still have 2 xbolts ( although not the carbon fiber fluted) and all have been excellent and fit me well. Also have an A7. They fit different but both are smooth and accurate out of the box for me....no issues
 
My brother bought one in ought six for his wife, they both like it and I thought it handled quite well, I've seen X-bolts shoot very well right out of the box, touching holes on the third shot, first one to site it in and adjust, I would recommend them though I only own an A bolt
 
My brother has one in 7mm Rem Mag that I did some reloading for and it wouldn't shoot the nosler 168 gr LRAB but finally got it shooting the 160 accubonds.It seemed a little more finicky to find a load for but every rifle is different and it does shoot under a inch group consistently.Seems a little heavy to me but he has a burris eliminator on it so that adds some extra weight.

I have one in .308. Nice light rifle. Loves 165 Speer Deepcurls. It's a great rifle but unless you have a fetish for carbon fiber save the extra $ and just get the regular stainless fluted. I'm not impressed by the pattern, it's just printed into the Duratouch.
