Beside the shortened LOP is the stock on the micro smaller than the regular hunter stock.

The mag capacity is less on the a-bolt micro but it look to be the same on the x-bolt?

Im looking for a compact rifle for brush hunting but looking at photos on gunbroker I can't really tell if the micro stock is slimmer than the regular hunter stock.

The micro also has a 20" barrell, the regular hunter has a 22". The micro is a dream to carry and a great little rifle on the seat of the truck.

The micro is definately smaller, I was looking at the micro as well in a .300 Win Mag...

I know....I would love the smaller size of the micro, but I think that it would kick like a mule!!! Guess I would have to look over the pros and cons....one shot with a big kick in exchange for a lighter, easier to carry gun....it's a tough one!!

There is also the Micro Midas, which has a shorter LOP.

the Xbolt Micro hunter is not chambered in 300 Win Mag, but it is in 300WSM
