X bolt scope mounting options

I am looking for mounting options for an x bolt,I posted a thread in the optics section but I think this might get noticed more here.My options are limited locally it seems so I am going to have to order something online.I don't really want to get the aluminium one piece mounts that browning offers. I want to go with stainless steel and it seems hard to find anything. Any suggestions on where I could find some or recommendations on custom scope mounts?

The Browning branded mounts are from Talley - they are a superior mount but if you have some aversion to aluminum mounts no amount of positive reviews will cure that.

Are you wanting Stainless mounts simply because they are SILVER or you want stainless because that's what you want?

I usually lap my rings and after awhile of hunting I always notice rust starts to form inside the rings and seeps out whenever the gun gets wet.I dont have this problem with my ruger rings. I know I wouldn't have this problem with alumimium but I have been brainwashed by these hunting forums into believeing steel is better for scope mounts.:confused:
 
Try spraying a little G96 Gun Treatment on your rings before going out in the pouring rain and after the 'hunt' wipe it down and warm it up and a bit more G96.
 
Talley aluminum rings are very good. I wouldn't bother having a set made from stainless, since you won't find any commercial ones.
