Anyone loading this combination in their X-Bolt 7-08.

Looking to start loading soon so input from anyone having success with this pair would be appreciated.
 
You have picked a perfect combo if your gun approves.What brass are you using ? The primer should be a magnum with that powder. BTW............Harold
 
I am using resized Remington 308 As 7-08 hard to find without paying big $$ for the Nosler brass. Thanks for the tip on the Magnum primer but suspect I should be starting with a milder load.
 
Work up a load with a same weight/profile bullet [cheaper] then seat your Partitions just off the rifling and still the proper OAL to fit the magazine and see if they are close.Tweak the Partitions and go from there.A buddy used Fed .308 necked down for the same $$$$$$$$$reasons and they worked fine.Just segregate them if you own a .308.........Harold
 
I own an older browning BBR in 7mm/08. I use 145gr Speer SBT worked up to 49grs Win 760, and use a Rem 9 1/2M primer in a Rem case. With a 24" barrel I get 2896 ft/sec and sub MOA accuracy.
