X-lock mounting

Does anyone have any experience with the browning x-lock mounting system to mout a scope on my browning x-bolt? Just want to know if it's a decent setup

I have the xlock talleys on my xbolt action...they seem to work just fine, is it better? I don't know, the logic makes a bit of sense but never had an issue with my other mounting setups either

I put a 2 piece set of Weaver mounts and Weaver grand slam rings on my X-bolt,...inexpensive and rock solid.

When you do install the mounts check the front two holes for milling debris. Also check to see if the screws bottom out in these two holes before tightening up on the mount as the barrel threads are in the bottom of the hole causing the depth to be limited. Other then that, the mounts are solid as there is four instead of two screws holding them on. Is four screws needed, well................
