X5 help !!!!

I have an X5 entry in 40 cal and today at the range the trigger bar broke . I was using factory blazer ammo.
My question is how screwed am I . Is it the same trigger bar as a 226 ? If not has anyone had this happen ? Are parts available ? I have left a voicemail at MD Charlton and hope to hear from them and I checked with Williams arms to see if they can get the part. Does anyone have any other leads where to get parts?
My last question is how the heck would this happen ? I have had many sigs and some well past 3, 4 thousand rounds and have. Ever had anything like this happen .

It is a new generation I bought it of a fellow gun nut who got it from a sight sponser ( he beat me to the punch ) it was in empecable shape and looked hardly fired . I have put maybe 600 rounds of blazer 180 grn factory ammo out of it . I have reached out to Sig sauer and they say I have to go through MD Charlton as parts are only available in the custom shop. I am waiting to hear back from them
