Here is a trick to try. It is a good one when you have mediocre bullets, mediocre barrel, or high pressure ammo.

Smear a little grease around the bullets. You will soon find it is easy to do. The grease tends to reduce barrel wear, reduce pressure, impove SD and improve accuracy. Try you new ammo with and without grease.

I'd be careful not to get any in the chamber or on the case. You really want that friction from the obturation between the two.
Too bad the commie surplus doesn't have a grease groove like the WW2 303B stuff I pulled did. Would be safer with the lube in the case neck.
