What kind of group sizes, with which bullet weights, are y'all getting? (NR 5.56 specifically). Has there been a significant improvement on newer runs of this gun? Many testers out there report 3-5MOA, especially on earlier production models.
Some report much better accuracy with 77gr, others the same or even favouring lighter weights.

When I had one (regret selling) and was comparing to my rack grade AR-15's (M&P etc..) back in the day there was no difference with bulk ammo.

^ Yep. 62 grain will produce 2 MOA. Also, get rid of that 3" jelly butt plate pad they came with and switch it out for the thin OEM one. I realized a vast improvement with accuracy after that simple mod.

I have a family member that has one, it seems capable of 1 to 1.5 moa 3 shot groups, but it always opens up after that. Not sure if it's the shooter or the gun. Average 5 shot group is in the 2 to 2.5 range. This is with 62 gr m855, red dot with a 5x magnifier.

Edit: this was using a bipod.

I get a pretty consistent ~2.5MOA using M193 with a 2MOA red dot and 3X magnifier which is on par with pretty much any other gun using the same kit. Most brands of m193 perform the same but PMC XTAC seems to perform a bit better. I found it seriously disliked most makes of 62gr M855 except for PMC XTAC, which grouped slightly better than M193 with the single box I had. However, none of my other rifles like M855 so I didn't bother getting more.

I also got 1.5" groups with PMC 77gr match.

I found that removing the barrel ring doesn't matter UNLESS you start mounting lights and other accessories to the handguard, and then you should remove it for best results. I also use the flat buttplate instead of the giant rubber monstrosity they made for the americans.

We all know everyone on the internet can shoot sub-moa offhand like the elite forum operators we are.

In all seriousness, the gun is probably more accurate than you are, just shoot it.

I have a full Geiselle setup in my X-95s. With 4x optics (most I ever have on them) nothing has done more than 4". Most everything is 2-3". I don't care about accuracy in a gun like the X-95 to measure the groups with any great effort. M193 is supposed to shoot especially well from them despite the fast twist but I haven't seen anything significant.

Pretty sure I read on here that there are a few CGN guys can shoot 1/3 MOA with their Savage...

I only own a single sheet of target paper that I have been reusing for years since I just only have to put rounds through the one hole I shot through the center.

Pffft 1/3 MOA? Newbies. My Axis in .223 shoots 1/4 MOA all day, out beyond the horizon. And that's with Norc yellow box. You should see what she does with handloads.

That's literally touching, cloverleafs.

.223 is 22 caliber. 25 caliber is 1/4 inch.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh ............ yea ..... so?

You clearly don't understand that group size is measured centre to centre so the caliber of the bullet is irrelevant? You measure the largest outside diameter of the group and then subtract the caliber size.

Yup .22 is 22LR, and a .229" group.

Remember accuracy takes into account many things...

- barrel quality and twist rate

- ammo quality and expected MOA (bulk .223/5.56 is usually only 2 MOA at best)

- are you using irons or a scope? Is it properly mounted and torqued? Stable set up off the bench? Ect.

- the shooter (most important)

Now that said

With my X95, with a Geissele trigger...a Vortex UH-1 (gen 2) and a Vortex 3x magnifier I can hit this target below 7/7 (what I load my Cross mags with) rapidly off a 2x4 as my rest. Using loose bulk Winchester M193 (55gr FMJ) at 200 yards, all my range goes out too.

I am sure with better (and probably heavier) ammo, a higher magnification optic and a more stable rest it can do better.

For me...I want good accuracy...but I want to achieve multiple *combat accurate* hits fast vs taking 10 seconds between shots...I also want the ammo I use to be "affordable" and available.

For me, more than happy...gonna try it out to 300 meters soon.
