X95 MSW Return/Deactivation - Please Read

Anyone get their store credit yet?

Nope, can't believe it's taking this long. SFRC told me call NS, NS says they don't know. It's not that complicated, every firearm returned to the vendor should have been credited immediately. NS says they are waiting on the RCMP, WHAT??

We can only deactivate them so fast. North Sylva and the person handling this at the RCMP both have the list of people and serial numbers that have been returned to us. The credits are issued to the customers from the store they bought them from and the stores are given a credit by North Sylva...customers do not call North Sylva. We've already given all of our customers store credits for their X95 MSW purchases as the credits are between the dealer and the customer.

I got mine in December. It's a store credit with SFRC and not a gift card or cash back so it helps if you make an account with SFRC.
(I bought mind from them so I dont know if they are giving store credit on other stores).

You have to ask and give them all the information you have.
RMA #s, tracking numbers, order numbers, where you bought it.

If you haven't heard back in a long time but the rifle was already received then send an email.

What RMA # were you out of curiosity?

It doesn’t matter what your RMA number was, guns came back at all different times. The store credits come from the dealer you purchased it from. We gave our customers credits already. I can’t speak for what other stores have done yet.

I call the stores I purchased mine from in Toronto area every two weeks and still nothing. The stores say to call NS.

The store shouldn't be telling you to call North Sylva. You should be dealing with the store and the store should be contacting North Sylva if they have any questions. The store will be issuing you a store credit not North Sylva.

I applaud your perseverance. I hope you are not hit with legal costs. The people who filed s74 hearings for the May 2020 OIC were ordered to pay costs on behalf of the govt lawyers.

I have never had to pay legal costs for any of the S74 hearings (2) that I have taken to court.

You also do not have to pay if you win.

Federal Court if I am not mistaken.

S74 hearings take place in Provincial Court.

Roy

Wrong, Roy. I was assessed $200 as my "share" of the costs when a dozen (or so) of us banded together with the same lawyer representing us in St Albert (Edmonton) Provincial Court. Needless to say, we lost based on "Lack of Jurisdiction". You will lose also, as the judges assigned to Sec 74 hearings are all ruling in the exact same manner here in AB and out in ON - "lack of jurisdiction". I don't see what makes your attempt any different than ours aside from your location, so unless Saskatchewan Judges are somehow independent of collusion with their counterparts in other provinces, you will lose. Once you lose, you will be assigned "costs" for the Government burning our tax dollars on lawyers to oppose you. Wrap your head around that byzantine fiscal arrangement!

The X95 MSW situation is not the same as what you did in court. I am doing both
