X95 Non restricted whos getting one ?

The damned thing about the left hand bolt is that it comes stripped. You have to scavenge the old bolt for parts.

That sucks. I'm waiting to hear back from IWI. NS has contacted them to find out if I can order an X95 already set up to shoot southpaw. If I can't I'm going to pass on the X95 for now. $3300 is just too much to spend when you factor in the left handed bolt.
 
IWI won't bring the X95 in with the left bolt installed so this makes this pretty expensive. I doubt there would be much of a market for the right handed bolt especially if I have to take parts off it. Hopefully a few will show up on the EE in the spring.

It's the cross eye dominance with me. The Tavor is appealing because you can change the ejection port position. I bought a used Tavor on the EE today along with a left handed bolt. That will save me $1000 over the X95 and almost $2000 over the APC. I have to start saving for the MDR or APC 7.62 when they are available.
 
I like the look of the IDF config and front end, too bad the short barrel and non-restricted is an oxymoron.
Can anyone confirm in the second photo what length that one's barrel is? Looks longer.

It's a '380' model with 380mm/16.5" barrel.
 
Not sure if I would call those two dudes an improvement lol

I think it will look pretty cool to have that model in semi with a barrel 2" longer and with a "flare" launcher.
 
I swear I've seen pictures somewhere of Israeli service X95s in semiauto.

I'm not sure if they were IDF however.

me too, it sucks.... I'd honestly just wait for the MDR... As you can tell from my avatar im a DT fanboy... Other than magazines those suck.

I've watched that MAC video on the MDR a dozen times. I'll probably end up selling the Tavor and getting the MDR. I'd say the price won't be much more than a Tavor. $2000/5.56 & $2200/7.62 USD should be well under $3000. If the HK 243 is under $3000 that would be two nice NR rifles.
 
I am getting the X95 in .223 and the MDR in .308
Once they are added to the collection I can start focusing on the house projects again.
