QD's and a Pistol grip sold me. And a handguard that is actually useful
Well, I've partaken of the koolaid, and have put in an order.
I've settled on Tavors as my NR 'black rifle of choice', having two 'legacy' units, set up identically with Elcans, single point sling and Gieselle trigger bow.
Now we'll have to see if the 'new kid on the block' can earn a spot in the 'starting rotation'
I've been in the list at the local gunstore for two years now. I even traded off my RFB last year with the idea that the MDR would be the 308 NR bullpup I really wanted.
The Tavors however are staying. I won't be rushing to the X95. I can see getting one eventually though.

The MDR is in longevity testing and most of the MDR parts have already been transitioned into production. We expect all parts to be in production within the next few weeks. Our goal was to get the first batch of MDR's completed in December but a number of small unexpected delays have pushed it into January. The production ramp-up is expected to be at full capacity by March 2017. This is the most current information we have and we will alert everyone of any changes. We will also try to share more insight with you on the MDR's performance during November. We truly appreciate everyone's patience and support.

I believe we will, as long as we don't see any reclassifications in the next few months, although availability in Canada is likely to be poor for a while.
Right now I've got a choice "parked" in the X95, but it doesn't blow the hair back the way the MDR does, I'm willing to wait a few extra months both for that reason and to see how the X95 shakes out.

Well Brownells special order dept just emailed me confirming they are able to get the Pistol Grip for the X95 and its a couple bucks cheaper than MSRP with my Mil discount. They still havent confirmed the Manticore arms Curved buttpad unfortunately.

Do you also ahve to buy a trigger guard too? Or are you going to leave the huge full hand trigger guard.
This is how is comes. I always hated the original tavor grip. Even have the IDF grip panels on the way... hehehehehhe
As far as I know I havent seen a 18.5 inch APC556 for sale in the USA to compare prices. and the X95 is actually cheaper in Canada if you compare exchange rates today.
