X95 rEcCe Rifle!

Is my X95 a rEcCe (Wreckee? Rekky?Wreck-it Ralph?) rifle yet?

Semi automatic? Check
18.5" 5.56 1:7 twist barrel for heavier bullets? Check
Free Float Barrel? Kinda...
Good magnification range? Check
Illumination FFP reticle thats usable at low and high magnifications? Check
Exposed locking turrets? Check
Parallax adjustment? Check

I'm toying around with the idea of setting my X95 up like this permanently. I've been particularly impressed with the feature set on the Athlon Helot BTR G2 2-12x42. Not alot of scopes with that feature set out there! Especially at this price ($679.99 at the time of writing) ATHLON HELOS BTR GEN2 2-12X42 AHMR2 FFP IR MOA

What do you guys think of this set up?
What kind of accuracy do you think would be acceptable out of something like this?
Anybody else have a similar setups? I would love to see your setups, I'm always looking for inspiration.

Sweet REQUIS build! Rekky? Wreckie? Whatever.

I am a fan of the Athlon though, I got the Argos HMR in the 2-12x magnification range and it's pretty great. I wish the dots were thinner lines like they are on the illuminated version since that would be better for hunting, but as-is it's pretty versatile out to about 500 yards.

Nice feet got more pics?

;)No thanks I'm waiting for marriage

How much does it weigh

That configuration with the mag, unloaded of course, was 12 lbs. Which is quite a bit but due to the bullpup format it balanced quite well and didn't feel like it weighed as much as it did. However on a long hike I'm pretty sure my legs wouldn't care how well balanced it was haha

I hope you’ve got a hat on Mister. You’re going to catch a cold. Nice rifle, it’s no Red Rider but you can’t go too far wrong with an X95. Cheers.

Hey Yuri,

I am giving serious consideration to this scope for a DMR-ish type rifle. I am also considering some LPVO/MPVO options from Primary Arms (PLx 1-8/GLx 2-10 ACSS), Trijicon (Credo 2.5-10x) and EOTech (Vudu 1-10x)...I can find reviews on all but the Helos.
Would you mind giving this thing a full-blown review? I am curious to how it stacks up, how tough it is, etc.

I think if more people knew about these scopes, more people would buy them - I like the look of the features and price, and what few reviews of the brand I have found have very little bad to say. But this is the very scope I am considering...

...pretty please with sugar on top.

Would be very interested in learning about the aftermarket forend.. cost / availability /quality / anything.... Asking for a friend.

I was a little apprehensive about getting an Athlon scope but decided to get Ares ETR 4.5-30x56 FFP MOA IR and I absolutely love it,so glad I got it and will be buying more in the future.
Also want to say thanks to Bryce and Ryan at Wolverine Supplies for the great customer service and answering all my questions and getting my Delta Pro and everything I needed ,everything showed up perfect. Love it THX
