Debating putting in an after market trigger. Really all Id do.

Griffon Epslon. Gasport cover. Elcan OS4x.

Love the gun so far. Going to be using it for 3gun.

That looks like my config ;) is it the 1x/4x scope?

I just threw up in my mount. WTF is that thing... a 2x4 with Mloks...lol...

I guess the mall ninjas will be happy.... hahahhahaha

It will improve accuracy as it's a better system for mounting vs attaching to the middle of the barrel. If it's more accurate, then why chirp it. I agree it's ugly, but if it's increasing the ability to hit a target at distance, then.....

Also, elcans look to be the perfect optic for this. Have a Trij 1-8 I was going to use, but that seems more ideal as a 8x isn't really for this kind of rifle.

Agreed. 4x seems just right to engage something centre of mass that's 'human sized' @ 200m

Accuracy and X95 dont go in the same sentence.... LMFAO

Anything that improves accuracy is a good thing. This rifle can get more accurate if this is paid attention to. "Accuracy" doesn't mean sub MOA. It means different things to different weapon systems.

Accuracy on this rifle can be improved by trigger, trigger pack, and free float barrel handguard/rail system. It will never be a precision rifle, but getting better accuracy and consistency is always welcome.

Anybody try the trigger on the X95?

The x95 trigger is already pretty decent. I would never get the trigger pack at 400+. The stock trigger is so much better than the tar.

And yeah. On my X95 I have a 4x only scope.

I'm waiting a bit to replenish my pool of $$ and getting a trigger pack first, then an actual lightning bow trigger... I wish I already had it and could tell you that's its much better, but i'm stuck at watching rave reviews for the packs.

I could spend the 150 for the trigger. But 400+ For the pack is a bit steep. Maybe someday.

Though an AR auto trigger kit is what.....300? So its not that cray cray. Going to be using this for 3gun so might be worth it.

I've used the lightning bow on both a TAR21 and the X95. The trigger pack is obviously a great upgrade, but it felt like overkill for a CQB rifle.

I would compare the X95 with LB to a good factory AR trigger.

I have a stock X95...still trying to figure out best upgrades. I like the trigger so far (better than the Tar 21 for sure). What's the absolute best upgrades that won't break the bank?

I'd say IDF trigger guard, if you hate the cutlass look. I personally hate the A2 hider, so I'd get a compensator. That being said, it makes it much louder to you since your ears are closer to the muzzle ;) Thin buttplate if you prefer a shorter LOP.

Try to shoot it to see if the exhaust gases are a bother, then I may suggest to get the gasket on the closed side of the ejection window.

Mine came with the thin butt pad. And manticore gas port cover.

The trigger, as you said is really pretty good. I replaced the birdcage with a epsilon compensator and seems good so far. And added the vertical grip. Most pictures I see of the x95 have some form of vert grip. It seems to work well the the rifle as youre able to suck it right back into your shoulder.
