XBolt Hell's Canyon Long Range vs Speed

Hello you Browning Guys

My cousin's kid decided he needed some extra umph to reach out to some of the elk. He's bought himself an Xbolt in 300 RUM. The ad had a Hawg muzzle break in it but wasn't included when the rifle showed up. So after looking back and forth on Brownings website, it looks like he's bought a Hells Canyon Long Range or the Speed. Problem is the spec sheet makes them look the same on paper , just the barrel contour is different - Heavy Sporter vs Sporter...and of course the threading for the brake is different. Is there another way to tell which one it is, short of calling Browning with the serial number in hand? Or is the barrel contour that obvious?

From a quick google search it looks like the Hells Canyon Long Range has a contour of about 0.730" at the muzzle and has 5/8x24 threads.
The speed should have a lighter contour than that (likely under 0.700 as you SHOULD have at least 0.700 for 5/8x24) and SHOULD have 1/2x28 muzzle threads.

If you want to confirm i'd take it to a shop/store that sells brakes, even if you don't buy one from them, and see what threads on the end then you can order what you want for it.

Should be on the end flap of the Browning box that it originally came in. I have a couple of their "Speed's", and it clearly says that on the end flap. Would imigine that it would also say if it is the HC Long Range version.

I should add I don't know very little about brakes. My only experience with then is getting hot wax down the side of neck from a 105mm on parade.
Browning's website has the the Speed with metric thread. Would there be something obvious with that or am I reading it wrong? I'll get the kid the measure the end of the barrel.
I don't think he got the original box with it. To me that would make it clear. edit....i reread the msg he sent last night and he "checked the box 5 times" with no luck. So i'll get him to check a 6th time
