XBolt or Sako A7?

Planning on buy a new rifle this year for hunting season (whitetail) of course. Having a hard time deciding between the two. The browning feels nice but i like the thought of the accuracy of the Sako. Looking for a 30.06 cal. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

X bolt is every bit as accurate, as a sako.Certainly nicer looking as well.

IMO Get the A7 with the free Burris BDC scope from Cabelas before they are all gone.

Sako gets my vote. Seen a couple A7's in 30-06 and other caliber here inthe EE. maybe worth a look.

I picked up an xbolt on the weekend in .223 and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. Great accuracy, and it looks great to!

I wouln't worry about the x-bolt accuracy mine shoot under 3/4 moa with the 180 accubond.Its also a really nice handling gun.

I hate all things browning so the choice is a easy one for me, sako and even then I would look else where

Sako has the proven track record in the accuracy department but the Brownings are suppoesed to be good shooters as well.
Really though,,, say the Sako was a sub MOA and the Browning an 1.5" gun in a hunting scenario both are gonna get the job done. Shoulder both and pic the one that feels best for you and which you like.

buy whatever fits best but yeah you are right...only Sako garantees the accuracy. Mine didnt' dissapoint.

Both companies make good rifles, I own a Sako trgs and a browning xbolt, I love my xbolt

I think I will probably go xbolt the extra $500 seems like a lot to spend for the sako when your not getting that much better of a rifle.

I'd look at a Remington, ruger, weatherby vanguard, winchester,tikka or even a lowly savage before I spend any hard earned cash on a browning. But to each his own.

I would go with the Sako A7. If you look at the combo with the Burris scope it really isn't that much of a different once you add optics to the a-bolt. And you are getting a much better quality firearm.
