I voted fix it, but only if you call in and they are going to warrenty it. My experience of it has been incredibly simple, they give you a pre-paid shipping tag that you just print up, UPS/Fedex comes to pick it up from your house, and 3 weeks later you have a new 360. However, if you don't want to wait 3 weeks, or want to upgrade from a pro/arcade to an elite.. Shoot it! I agree with 12guage, but with hollowpoint slugs :D

Shoot the thing and part ways with that aspect of your life.

Preferred method of attack: Hollowpoint 12 gauge slug at point blank range

:)

I'd venture to say that that is a bad idea. Seeing as how some parts of the hard drive could provide for some interesting backsplatter.

10 paces back sounds safer.:p

Grab a generator and a long extension cord. Plug it in a use everything from your safe. I would start with an ar five rounds then the shotgun.

The only thing is. Make sure you clean up your mess. There are alot of fools out there that shoot #### and dont clean up their garbage afterwards. And dont throw it in a range garbage bin neither. Take it back out with you. Surprised no one has mentioned this yet in all 4 pages.

+2 to this. The range I shoot at can be quite busy, and more than a few times I've seen scattered remains of VCRs, keyboards, hard drives and TVs that I've cleaned up. The rules say "only approved paper or cardboard targets" but alas, if nobody else is around...people tend to get silly.

+3 - our range is flexible to those who put forth the effort to keep it clean. Having said that, "fun" shoots always are followed by 3 guys and 3 rakes :)

If you can put a few rounds of .45-70 through it.

I would suggest a PS3, even if there are not as many games you get blueray. Networks easily with windows media player and then you can watch download HD content (I believe XBOX is also capable of this)

At the end of the day, everyone knows a PC is best for games and a console is really just a small gaming computer.

Sell it or pitch it. Don't take it to the range and shoot it up because image is everything these days. The volunteers at our range flip when they find junk like this left behind and us shooters should do everything we can to help them out. The liberal lickspittles in the media have a field day with this kind of crap too.

Sweep up your brass, pull down your targets and clean up when you're done. If you have enough time, spare a kind word for the old timers and volunteers that make the range a great place to be in the off season. If we take care of them, they will take care of us.
