Get the biggest rifle/shotgun you can find, and stop shooting when a) you run out of ammo, or b) there isn't enough left to hit!!!!
 
Mine died too last week. I cannibolized it and got a slim ps3 with a hundred twenty gig hard drive. Traded everything but the machine itself, plus my games (5) and got my ps3 for a hundred and twenty five bucks from eb. IMO PS3 blows xbox out of the water. Everything looks better, and sems to run smoother. Killzone 2 rocks - best graphics I've seen yet from a FPS. And Cod4 is the same as it is on x box... but looks better.
 
HAHA i say shoot it but question first is it the 3 ring of death, cause I had that happen to mine less then a month ago and its up and I got it up and running again using the X-Clamp method, believe it or not it acutally works even tho it sounds like bull. I called mircosoft and they wanted it for 8 weeks and said it will cost around $160. But I fixed it myself for $8. if it is the 3 ring of death, try doing the x-clamp if u have problems pm me

Damn man, fix it via youtube video's (cost me about 8 bucks) sell it to fund your rifles.

I need to find a .223 that is nasty. I only have FMJ. But I'm going to even give the XBOX a chance at mercy. I'm going to build a platform on which it it will lay. this platform will be supported by three 1"x1" posts - in such a manor that it will still be supported down to the last post. My cousin does not want me to destroy the XBOX. He has a .30-06 nighttrain....(lets not start a sideline on his choice of bullet tosser...lol)

I am still working on the details - I'm thinking -

or
-30sec, 1 min? and as many rounds as he wants

Basically, if he can shoot out the posts, the xbox will fall onto a few pillows
if not, well, you get the picture, I'll more than likely 3 Gun the xbox. I'm thinking of placing a muffler clamp around the unit to secure it in place... :)

Too bad PS3 multiplayer sucks hard. I've had both for two years now and there isn't a single game I've bought for the PS3. Xbox FTW, my PS3 makes a good Bluray player, that's about it.


Anyway, shoot it with a shotgun.
 
I take all of my broken office equipment and electronics to the range. Lot's of fun but I bit of a mess to clean up afterwards.

So far I have dispatched:

Fax machine
2 PCs
1 CRT monitor
1 Copier

I have shot them all with a mix, from 9mm up to 30.06 and shotgun slugs.

Slugs cause the most damage by far. Hollow point pistol rounds are in second. The high velocity rifle stuff and jacketed pistol rounds just go right through unless they hit something sturdy inside, like a HD.

Too much fun, like Office Space on steriods :)
 
have you thought of sending it in for red ring warranty, i have heard its been moved to 5 years now for RROD.
 
The new Xbox's don't have the same heat/cooling issues and when you get it fixed - it should last a long, long time.

Had my Xbox with falcon chipset almost 2 years now, and it has been rock solid.

Have a PS3 as well, and it is good too.
 
I've looked at all the "fix it yourself" videos. I "may" try and sort it out. It may extend its life. HOwever, first cough or his it makes will be its last.
