I don't know. Varmint hunting might be better done with .223. Definately. 308 for deer. They should make a. 22 kit for the L series.
How are you guys with the "M's" liking the weight? Good, bad, indifferent?

I bought an XCR-L just because i couldn't afford to shoot .308 at the moment LOL. So far i absolutely love the rifle though.

I'd use the 223 for deer if it was legal to do so in AB. As of now its a long range gopher/coyote getter, tons of fun and great practice shooting-cheaper to shoot maybe, but I shoot it twice as much
The M is front heavy, same as the L, been thinking about adding some weight to the stock for a better balance maybe.

For a non restricted rifle I would go with .308.
That's cool. You have to be a rich guy to shoot .308 as much as I like go shoot. My reason for buying mine as well. Problem is, ow I want both.
