Export License Approved

We are pleased to announce that the US have approved a licence for forty five XCR Rifles in 7.62 x 39. We will not require the individual DSP 83 forms that we were collecting with orders, they will go into the shredder and the $25 handling fee will be used as a deposit against your rifle purchase and your order will move to the top of the list. Now we have the licence approved for rifles we expect to get a licence approved the 7.62 conversion kits. The DSP83 route was plan B as we did not expect a bulk licence, (plan A) to be approved.. I expect delivery will be Jan/Feb.

CORRECTION:, I was mistaken, all XCR barrels are chrome lined.

That's terrific news. The 6.8 spc conversion kit is excellent, as well as the match trigger upgrade. I am glad to here the 7.62 have chrome lined barrels. More colour coding barrels to bolts is a good thing...

Do you have the match triggers for sale John?

He did, that's where I purchased mine. About a twenty minute remove & install, as soon as you find out where the cotter pin is to remove the forward pin for the hammer located on the left hand side (looking forward), inside the housing. Stashed away behind the hammer spring. Rotated almost out of 1st site. It is a spring clip type cotter pin. The directions to the pictures were a little sketchy, but not impossible...

s**t!!!

I have so many conflicting feelings about this!

On one hand, awesome work, that is great news!

On the other, I don't really trust the XCR yet!

However, chrome lined barrels...awesome!

Then again, I'm broke!

But still...congratulations!

At the same time...god damn it!

Don't trust it for what? You going to war sometime soon? Maybe starting your own? I've put over 900 rounds through mine so far and I have been quite neglectfull in it's maintenance, I have not cleaned it since the first round went downrange. Shoots fine, everytime I pull the trigger. I trust mine!

No, but guns that I would not take if I were going to war don't interest me much...at least not other than as toys. When I am confident an XCR will stand up to repeated 1000-round weekends, THEN I will buy one.

Anyway I don't want to get in to an "XCR possible issues thread" here...this is Wolverine's thread on the arrival of a new product which a lot of people have hoped for - including me. So I would rather focus on the success of Wolverine in getting these exported...right on!

Great news Wolverine, Thanks. And thanks for clarifying the chrome lined barrel thing; I felt bad when Kolob had to correct me about that when I told another CGN'r that they were not chrome lined. I just hope he didn't think I was bad mouthing Robarms products because I wasn't.
