Wondering if anyone's heard when the next batch of XCR's are due? I have my hands on the cash now so I have a bad feeling it's going to be longer than I want to wait.

As mentioned, keep an eye on the EE. they seem to change hands quickly when buyers realise what they just spent $2300 on.

I had mine for a whole 2 weeks.

Not too many are selling. I love mine... granted, I feel it is about $300 over priced but it is accurate, reliable, takes common AR mags AND nonrestricted. Armedsask has a burr in his but about them. :p Sorry Armedsask, you may not like them and love your AR180B's, I personally think the 180B is a plastic pile of ... But hey, we are entitled to our opinions. And I definately respect yours.:)

I've heard about people who aren't happy with them but the same for the AR180b and then some. The problem is what other non-restricted black rifle is available for the price range? SwissArms and Tavor are nice but are almost a grand more, aren't readily available and there is the 10 round mag factor too.

You need an adapter i personaly do think they look funny. the CTR and the normal cabine stock anyways. i haven seen any others on an xcr

not to hijack the thtread - but i tried and couldnt find anything on this (even tho im sure it was discussed elsewhere) can these 10 round LAR mags be used in your xcr shooting coyotes (for example) or is that not permmitted? I dont understand the use of the LAR mags except for maybe the rnage

I happened to pick a couple up -- went out in the country shooting and DID NOT know they held more then 5 -- all of a soudden when i was loading them -- hey these hold more then 5!!! I came back and read up and saw that they were "special" but dont know if they can be used as i mentioned above . any help?

BTW -- i do like the XCR - i have some complaints, but it IS non-restricted, and $1000 less then the swiss arms - it appears to be accurate and reliable - but the jury is still out. I still miss my GI M-14 tho

That's why I'll have one of each :D

The deal with the 10 rounders is they were developed for the LAR-15 pistol. Since the allowed mag capacity is based on the firearm it was designed for - in this case a pistol - 10 is allowed. The fact you are using it in a rifle is irrelevant. Don't look for the logic cause there isn't any. Just rest assured it's all legal.

So long as you aren't breaking any hunting regs.

I guess thats the wrinkle here in my case -- the hunting regs will not allow more then 5 in a semi when hunting coyotes on land for which you have access (outside of hunting season)

thanks for the info
