XCR feeding problems

I understood XCRmonger suggested downloading the magazines as a troubleshooting exercise, not a permanent fix.

Sorry but it sickens me, this is not "new" we have herd this all before... I hear more bad then good on these rifles and it's too bad, because the guys that paid that price tag deserve better.... Sorry,

For the OP to have dropped 2500.+ on the gun, I'm quite sure he was aware of the quality rifles RA produce and must have heard a lot of good things, or he wouldn't have bought it. Right?

As much as I understand your frustration, I realize Ms Monger suffers the same frustrations.

I'm sure the issue will be promptly resolved.

Funny how you guys do your math, a XCR after taxes is $2500 is still no where near a SA rifle of $3600 BEFORE taxes.

Sounds like a woman justifying her shoe purchases, "But Honey....it was on sale for around $300" in reality it was really $385.

When did the SAN rifles go to $2600?

It's fine I was being a bit of an ass, One of those days I guess....

One of those days when it would have been better to say nothing at all, if you ask me. If every new company that is working towards the perfect product listened to people telling them to give up, we would all be throwing rocks at each other.

One of the reasons I bought my XCR was because I was so impressed with how much R.A. cared about the after-purchase support of their rifles. Spend some time on the XCR forums and you will be impressed too I am sure.

Been there tried that, I just cant bring myself to paying for something thats so over priced, just because of its legal classification...

So dont. But there is no need to talk sh*t about them when no one asked you your opinion either. Until you chimed in, this thread was all about helping the OP resolve his problem.

I got my xcr a few weeks ago and am digging it. Put maybe 250 round down it. Shooting PMC rounds with my gas regulator on 4 dented the sh*t out of my empty casings, but clicking it down to 2 solved the problem and yielded the desired casing-ejection-distance.

Anything man-made will occasionally have problems. But having seen XCR monger on this forum and the XCR one, I feel lucky to have bought into a company that is there at a moment's notice to help you our, or just to shoot the sh*t and be social with you on a forum.

Hope that the problem gets sorted out soon, and thanks, T, for being our personal XCR support tech online ;)

I'm over 800 rounds through mine with only a couple of miss-feeds, due to weak loaders fingers and 1 stove-pipe.
That's it.
Bear with Terra, she will make it right and don't give up on this rifle
My XCR is my favorite rifle, and that's saying a lot.

I just recieved a PM from Carl, we will get this XCR sorted out tomorrow. We import the XCR and we stand behind what we sell. As I have said before if anyone has a problem with something they have purchased from us, please contact us. We can't resolve an issue that we are unaware of. A phone call or e-mail deirect to Wolverine will always get a faster responce than a PM.

As an aside I was asked last night what firearm I would pick up in an emergency, if my double .470 NE wasn't handy it would be my XCR!

Oh ####ing please you XCR fanboy, what have you contributed to this thread? Except for your love affair for your XCR, nothing! No one asked for your opinion either, I wished the OP luck and that I feel his pain, then bowed out. Then you have to open your big fanboy mouth and restart this. just shut it and this fanboy thread will continue...

Wow ... and yet you keep coming back for more. What's worse, it's clear you don't even own an XCR.

Notice anyone else pissing on this thread? -- Just you amigo.

I'm getting realy angry with my new Rob arms XCR. When I insert a fresh mag , the bullet gets pushed from the mag and ends up askew in the receiver. That happens with every mag I own and makes the rifle fail to feed...

It seems like the bolt catch hook that is pushed up when the mag is empty was made too long and gets caught on the bullet.

I was given a solution by xcrmonger but that didnt solve anything and created more porblems.

Is anybody else having this happen with their new XCR or did I get the F"""king lemon of the batch.

Help or I'll sell sell this 2500$ paper weight and get a gun that works:mad::mad::mad:

odd question, and maybe it was part of xcrmonger's response, but have you fed a "loaded" mag (dummies if your in the house)into the lower while it is seperated from the upper?

if it's the bolt catch, you should see it happen clearly when the mag is inserted.
