Yes but only on current production.

I have owned a few of both and can tell you the .8 lbs off the nose is a significant difference in the handling of the gun. IMHO, the question you have to ask yourself is if you are bushwacking? If you are shooting off a bench stick to the heavy. If you are hiking with it or lifting the nose consistently go light. The barrel change is so easy having both is definitely an option.

Ya, why were the flash hiders pinned in the first place?
I'd be interested in a light .223 1/9 twist at some point as well.

Old info, they come in threaded and no pin or weld.
