xcr-L bolt catch troubles

Hey guys. I have an XCR-L in 6.8 and I'm having trouble with the bolt catch. It seems as if it's not "grabbing" the bolt enough. If I smack a mag in it, the bolt closes. If I set it in the gun rack at the club, the bolt closes. If I jar it slightly,the bolt closes. It's really sensitive. I'm just wondering if this is a common thing or if if need to order a new bolt catch, or maybe there's something really simple simpleton fix it. Thanks

Its a typical issue with older XCR's. Soft bolt catches. Contact Wolverine Supplies for a replacement.

Likely what supernova mentioned, i have 2 newer XCR's and haven't had a similar problem, friend of mine had a first gen one though and never mentioned anything like that.

Make sure the small allen head screw that hold the bolt release shoe is tight. If it backs out even a turn the catch won't reach the bolt. If it's tight, order a new catch. I've replaced mine once in 15K+ rounds.

Mine ended up getting bent and wouldn't hold the bolt open on an empty mag. I emailed Wolverine and they replaced it under warranty.
