Sounds like because it was the old style bolt head, might be the reason... At least that's still the best thing i can think of.
You'll likely get the newest generation bolt head which like the AR15 is impossible to have an OOB! Definitely a good thing for older RobArms owners to check out and see if they have the older style bolt head and carriers.
