XCR-L in 6.5 Grendel

Patron on xcrforum who ordered a barrel, Holly apparently said they are ready. Not in hand yet.

Hope its true, google tells me RobARMS has been saying they're ready/almost ready since June 2008. There was an issue with the first batch that was supposed to be fixed by Christmas of that year. Not sure where the time went... Will be interesting to hear what they tell Mr. Wolverine. Once Wolverine gives an anticipated date, I'll believe it.

PS If it does come in, order some Hornady and Wolf ammo for me too...

Yeah, it's had a long history of never being released. They had issues in the beginning, but then it just died off for years - I have no backstory for it.

Good news, after a long wait we will be able to offer the XCR-L in 6.5 Grendel and XCR-M in 6.5 Creedmoor. We will be getting licenses in place for both spare barrels and complete rifles. Watch our web page, we will be entering details as soon as we can. Delivery is going to be a few months.

Great news John - take my money!!! Might want to bring in some ammo too...

Great news! Will you be ordering plenty, can we pre-order? Long waits on a chance suck.

Hmmm, always had an itch for an XCR-M and 6.5 Creedmoor might tip me over the edge......

Out of curiosity what length will the 6.5 Creed barrel be compared to the 308? I`m curious as the Ruger Precision (and possibly others) have longer barrels when chambered in 6.5 Creed when compared to the 308 variants

Really hoping the folks at Wolverine can comment on bringing in some inexpensive ammo to feed these kits. I'd definitely put my name down and pay a deposit for a 6.5 Grendel kit + a crate of Wolf combo, provided the ammunition were to come in at the right price.

Noooooo (yesssss), not more pretty things (awesome!)..

Tyson... Those atop my left and right shoulders are gonna duke this out for awhile, but sooner or later I'm going to be bugging you for these ;)

And I second what TravisKay said about bringing in some Wolf ammo! +1

I'm 100% in on 6.5 Grendel and I'm considering 6.5 Creedmoor on XCR-M. Mr Wolverine, do you know if there will be heavy and lightweight barrel options? The other calibre I was considering for long rang was .243 win (which is more available and cost effective), but you're out of those.
