Completely different platforms so will be like comparing apples to oranges.
The XCR definitely has a better trigger than the Tavor. The rest comes to whether you like a traditional style rifle or a bullpup. I love both styles. Had an XCR and Tavor. Kept the Tavor but I have ARs to fill the other gap. My XCR was the last Gen and I found it heavy and unwieldy. I know the Keymod ones are 100% better. May pick up another sometime. Gotta free up funds!
Got a tavor and have done a partial install of the Geissele trigger upgrades (tossed in the trigger pack). They make a huge difference. Back home to finish installing the trigger bow at Thanksgiving and will take it out again. Everything I've read/heard says between the 2 products it makes a night and day difference to the tavor.
Agree with Still Alive..xcr and tavor are apples to oranges. I'd say double down man. Enjoy the 'fruits' of your labour and buy both if you can. Hell, throw a 'banana clip' vz58 in there too. Another NR platform that's a ton of fun to run.
