XCR-L reassembly problem

Hi, I took my xcr apart including the barrel, and now when I reassemble it, the gas tube is loose and rattles a bit. I never noticed it before. The barrel assembly doesn't seem to fit flush on the gas tube,ie the gas tube (yes I aligned the slot), has some up and down play of about 1/16 of an inch. Any thoughts? Cheers, Dan.

make sure there isnt any grit/crap/dirt/obstruction preventing the barrel to fully seat in the upper reciever

i pull my barrel every second cleaning or so, and never had a problem with loose parts or anything coming loose

So I checked it again and reassembled it. The barrel sits flush, but the gas tube still has about a 1/16 of an inch up and down travel. Can that be normal?

Mine was like that and never gave me any problems. Just torque the bolt to spec and it shouldn't give you any problems.

Never had that issue, and I pull my barrel every time I clean. I HAVE installed my gas tube upside down before though! check to see if your piston is seated properly?? i have no idea dude. you should post it on XCRforum.com too!

when I had mine (bought new), it rattled around right out of the box..
