I just picked up a new xcr-l keymod in .223 and when playing around with it last night i noticed that upper and lower receiver on the left side dontt quiet line up. The contour lines are lower on the upper receiver and the upper seems to stick out further than the lower. Everything locks up tight and the bolt pulls back fine. Everything seems to fucnction. Also there seems to be a bit of play in the main pin joining the upper and lower. Are these common issues or did i just get a QC issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah i am. Just checked it out and i think your right. Thanks i was just loosing my sh*t there for a minute. Do you know if there is supposed to be play in the main pin? When the receiver is seperated there is some play between the two right a the pin?

SnoPac is correct on both counts.
Same thing bothered me when I bought mine haha I do have a real problem though, there's a pretty deep scratch on the side if the receiver that was coated over. So it happened at the factory. However it's minor and since then the rifle has received many more marks and scratches from playing in the dirt
