XCR-L & Vortex VMX3 Magnifier

I'm looking to buy a Vortex VMX3 magnifier with swing mount to go on my XCR-L. However, I'm wondering if swinging the magnifier down will interfere with the charging handle? It's a swing with a cam, and not a flip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnPr0Ddzi88

Is there an option to swing to the opposite side, or will that obstruct ejection?

Also, I'm undecided on whether to go with the Vortex SPARC or with the Vortex strikefire for use with the magnifier.

Any advice is appreciated.

If you want it to swing the other side why don't you just flick the mount to face the other direction?

Yep you should be able to use the mount in either direction, just un-clamp it from the magnifier, flip the base around and put it back together. I would have it swing to the right side of the gun anyways as it's more out of the way there.
