XCR--------LAR15 mags?

Just picked up an XCR (5.56) and was super excited.... until none of my LAR 10(30) round mags fit!! Is this a common issue with XCR's? Are there any 5.56 pistol mags that work better? Halp..... f:P:
 
I hope someone with more relevant experience will soon chime-in, but I'll note that some WK-180C's had issues with LAR magazines and that those issues were remedied with use of MFT magazines... :yingyang:
 
I’ve never had issues with my RRA or C products 10/10 mags. Never tried the 10/30’s, but I’ve used a variety of 5/30’s (pmag, sig, IMI) without issue. Some don’t drop as nicely as I’d like, but never an incompatibility issue.
 
Define fit.

Loaded 10/30's do not like going in on a closed bolt on an AR15, they require a hard hit to seat the mag. A good method I was taught was push/pull (insert mag, push it in, pull to confirm it is locked in. If it comes out - it is not in, hit it hard to seat the mag).


Try seating on open bolt, loading on a closed bolt with only 9/10 rounds in the mags, and screaming at your mags to work well to trouble shoot/provide more info.
 
Had some issues with mags on a closed bolt.

But all my lar15 10 rounders, my 5/30 rounders, my 5/10 rounders, etc fit just fine on a open bolt in my XCR-L.
