First I'd like to thank everyone for the responses when I asked for help. Second: I don't think this is much of a range report, just what I have found so far shooting the "M" for the first time. I was out by myself so you don't get a bunch of pictures of me shooting it and grinning all the time. Just some of the results.

I woke up this morning to -23 so I held off until it got to -14. The range from the bench to the target is 104 meters according to my range finder. I checked out the range report that Wolverine posted and was impressed with the accuracy that the "M" had given them, but thats with "match" ammo. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't shoot "match" ammo very often, if at all. I plan to use this rifle for everything from gophers and coyotes to whitetail next season. I wanted to know how it was going to shoot in the real world, with real world ammo. I started out with some Wallyworld Winchester Grey Box 150gr Power Points, just to see how it handled and rough site the scope. Once I had put about 20 rds. down range I knew I was on the paper and close. I switched to Winchester Power Max 150gr PHP that I also get at Wallyworld for about $20/box

The sand-bags were frozen solid and didn't give me the nice solid rest that they should have. The seat was cold and I had to stand up every once in a while just to thaw out my butt. I found that I had a little trouble getting the right cheek-weld on the FASTock that the "M" comes with. I may change this out down the road, but it does the job it's supposed to. It was still chilly enough that I had to warm my trigger finger up in between shots, and when I took a short break to gather brass, the pistol grip was cold enough to numb my hand. The trigger may not be a target trigger, but I found it very smooth with a nice crisp break. Fit and finish are very nice.

I only put about 60 rounds down range before I wimped out and came back in the house. Tomorrow it's supposed to be warmer, and I've got some 150gr and 165gr Hornady SST reloads that I want to try.

Overall I am very impressed with this rifle. Thanks again to the staff at Wolverine for bringing these in. As you can see from the picture below-If I did my part, controlled my breathing, didn't jerk the trigger, and found a repeatable cheek-weld this rifle will perform. The red bullseye is 1"

I hate CGN, just when i think i dont need anymore guns i see threads like this and the gremlin in my head starts telling me to buy. :(

This XCR-M is looking more promising all the time. At 9+ lbs unloaded it seems like a bruiser but the groups it is showing with match and regular ammo are impressive.

I think it just entered the "Sweetheart, I think I need another rifle" process. You all know the drill.

Okay, it's cleaned and ready to go for another try today. The weather is above -10. I figured out how to adjust the FASTock and raised it up a little. Modified an ERGO pistol grip to fit and give me a more consistent trigger pull, although the color doesn't match. Will post pictures later if I get the chance.

9 Pounds before the scope, rings and ammo, but the weight is pretty well balanced. Not a lot heavier than my Remington bolt action,(20" heavy barrel and badger bottom metal) and no where near as heavy as an M-14 in a Sage stock.

Is your range certified??

Hey Brother! Haven't heard from you in a while. You should know the range I'm talking about. You even shot there occasionally. Not as nice as the other one we used to shoot at, but we all have to make sacrifices.

Now on to the good stuff! Here's the new toy. Like I said, the Ergo pistol grip is a mismatch, but it will do until I find something I like. Ignore the duct tape cheek pad, and before everybody jumps on me, I know the FASTock is adjustable. It's also a little on the thin side and hard. Shooting it with the gas adjusted fully open, it reminded me of the FN that I shot 20+ years ago in the military. After 20 rounds my cheek was feeling it, so I figured I could either find a quick-fix, or quit shooting.

I seemed to have a little problem getting my scope dialed in properly today. The sandbags are still frozen, and not letting me get the solid base that I usually do. Let's see if I can find any other excuses. As I stated earlier in the post: If I did my job properly, this rifle would put them where I aimed. I just seemed to have a little trouble with repeatability today - I blame me, not the rifle. The other thing I should mention is that there was not a lot of time between these shots, maybe 30 seconds, I'm just not that patient. There was no 2 or 3 minutes cool down between shots like you read about in some reviews. Cool down was at the end of a mag or two when I stopped to pick up brass, or when changing targets and reloading.

Target #1: Started out with some American Eagle 150's. I shot the bottom group. 4 nice and tight and then I pulled one. Klunk will testify to the fact that once I realize that I have a nice group going I always seem to pull one. Played around with the scope some, and came back with the last 3 rounds in the box to put them around the bull. And then I was out of American Eagle.

Target #2: I tried out some 165gr Hornady SST hand loads. They seemed to snap a bit more coming out of the Rifle, even though they aren't a hot load. I just didn't like the feel so I only fired 10 rounds. This is the second 5 shot group with them.

Target #3: This is the last 5 of the day. I was losing the light, and I was cold, so I probably rushed them a bit, but I think I have it pretty close. This is the Winchester Power Max.

Target#4: This was a little earlier in the day, after the hand loads. Again it's the Winchester Power Max. This is 10 rounds rapid fire. (probably 3 to 5 seconds between rounds) 5 down range, switch mags and 5 more. You can see that my cheek weld was obviously just slightly different for the second 5.
